During this year's Dragon Boat Festival, an anticipated average of 2.15 million people will enter and exit the nation's ports daily, marking a notable increase of 12.2% compared to last year's festival. The busiest day for travel is projected to fall on June 1, when most of the inbound and outbound passenger traffic is expected to peak. Airports across the country will see a steady rise in traveler numbers, with significant flows at major international airports.

Specifically, it is estimated that the average daily number of passengers at leading international airports including Shanghai Pudong, Guangzhou Baiyun, Beijing Capital, Chengdu Tianfu, and Shenzhen Bao'an will reach approximately 100,000, 48,000, 46,000, 17,000, and 16,000 respectively. The areas of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau are set to host numerous dragon boat races and large-scale events during this festive period, drawing substantial crowds of mainland residents traveling abroad and Hong Kong and Macau residents returning to their families.

The State Administration of Immigration has proactively made arrangements to ensure effective border inspection processes during the holiday.
