Submit Second Batch of Study Tour China Courses Now

The Ministry of Education's Study Abroad Service Center is encouraging universities to submit their courses for the second batch of the "Study Tour China" curriculum. This initiative aims to bolster the 'Study in China' brand, contribute to the building of a strong educational foundation, and enhance high-level educational openness.

In an effort to elevate the quality and depth of study abroad programs, the Study Abroad Service Center has introduced the "Study Tour China" curriculum system. This initiative seeks to integrate various educational resources and leverage the academic strengths of participating universities to collaboratively develop and enhance the curriculum.

To date, 25 courses under the "Study in China" framework have been successfully registered, with several already implemented and yielding positive results. The center is actively inviting input from various educational bodies to expand and refine the curriculum further, aligning it with pressing global interests and national developmental needs.

The Study Abroad Service Center emphasizes the importance of universities utilizing their unique regional characteristics and disciplinary strengths. By fostering collaboration, institutions can advance the development of courses centered around shared themes, such as establishing distinct cultural study tour modules related to the Qilu culture in Shandong and the Three Qin culture in Shaanxi.

The curriculum development focus encompasses a wide array of topics. Categories include cultural studies that highlight unique regional histories and practices, engineering disciplines that cover infrastructure and energy, alongside technical fields like artificial intelligence and information technology. Arts, economics, environmental sustainability, and medical sciences are also vital components of this development.

Evaluations will be conducted by experts on the proposals submitted for the curriculum development, facilitating further enhancement of the course library. An exit mechanism will ensure that only high-quality, effectively implemented courses remain available.

The deadline for submissions is set for October 19, 2025. Interested parties should send their course development proposals to cscse@studyinchina.edu.cn.

The submission guidelines, course standards, and necessary documentation required can be found in the attachments, which detail the framework for course development and submission logistics.

For any inquiries or further clarification, individuals may contact the Ministry of Education's Study Abroad Service Center at the provided consultation phone number.
