Paike Border Police Station Receives National Model Award

The Paike Border Police Station has been celebrated as a national model as part of the "Guardians Under the Sun" campaign, which emphasizes the vital role of public security. This initiative highlights the dedication of police personnel at the Kashgar Border Police Station, showcasing their efforts in upholding border security and fostering ethnic unity.

In alignment with Xi Jinping's vision for law and public security, the campaign seeks to honor and promote exemplary public security practices. The recognition was timed to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, reflecting the unwavering commitment to stability and security in the region.

The Ministry of Public Security awarded the border management detachment of Kashgar Border Inspection Station the title of "National Model for Public Security". This acknowledgment comes as part of a broader effort to inspire police forces nationwide by showcasing the exemplary behaviors and achievements of the Paike Border Police.

A ceremony in Urumqi marked the announcement of the achievements of the Paike Border Police Station. It included participants such as border patrol officers, various ethnic representatives, and media members, all of whom witnessed a creative presentation that included storytelling, videos, and artistic displays celebrating the police's accomplishments.

The ceremony featured several thematic segments that conveyed the police force's commitment to the Party's governance strategies in Xinjiang. Each part of the event illustrated the deep sense of unity among the Chinese people while also honoring the history and dedication of those guarding the borders.

Strategically located at the convergence of China, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, the Paike Border Police Station stands at a challenging altitude of over 4600 meters. Established in 1950, the station has continuously operated in harsh natural conditions while fostering a strong narrative of dedication and sacrifice among its officers.

The 75-year legacy of the Paike Border Police includes numerous accolades, manifesting their commitment. The station has received collective first-class merit, recognized as a "National Youth Civilization Unit," and has been termed a model collective for ethnic unity and progress within its operational history.
