In an effort to safeguard the rights and interests of students pursuing education abroad, as well as to uphold the integrity of the overseas study market, the Ministry of Education Study Abroad Service Center has implemented strengthened certification reviews for certain foreign degrees. This initiative comes in response to recent irregularities detected in the certification data from specific institutions.
The institutions under scrutiny include the Binary University of Management and Entrepreneurship in Malaysia, the Artha Bodhi Iswara School of Economic Sciences in Indonesia, the ACH Medical University of Mongolia, and the Mongolian University of Pharmaceutical Sciences. These institutions have been subjected to increased examination due to the frequent reporting of anomalies associated with their certification metrics.
Effective immediately, applications for degree certification from these institutions will undergo a more rigorous review process. Consequently, the expected processing time for these applications will now extend to a minimum of 60 working days following the submission date.
Students and alumni from the affected institutions are encouraged to maintain communication with their respective universities to stay abreast of developments during this enhanced review period. This proactive approach will help them navigate any challenges that may arise concerning their degree validation.
In parallel, students planning to study abroad or those currently abroad are strongly urged to monitor announcements related to this intensified scrutiny closely. It is essential to carefully select institutions and academic programs in light of these updates.
This proactive response highlights the government's commitment to ensuring that academic qualifications from abroad maintain a standard of quality and legitimacy. The changes are expected to lead to a more trustworthy certification process for degree holders.
For further inquiries or guidance on this matter, affected individuals can contact the Ministry of Education Study Abroad Service Center at the consultation number provided. This office is located on the 6th floor of the Huiming Times Building, situated at No. 56 Beisihuan West Road in Beijing.
As a final note, the Study Abroad Service Center emphasizes the importance of understanding these changes and their potential impact on students and graduates seeking opportunities both domestically and internationally.
