On November 1, the Mazu Culture Youth Exchange Forum and the Global Generation Z Dialogue with Mazu were successfully conducted at the Mazu Cultural Forum on Meizhou Island in Putian, Fujian Province. This significant event, themed 'Youth in Harmony, Unity in Action,' was organized collaboratively by the Secretariat of the All-China Youth Federation and China Daily. Approximately 300 scholars and young students from over 20 countries and regions attended, coming together to share their insights and interpretations of Mazu culture.

The forum featured a structured sharing and communication session divided into three chapters. The first chapter, 'Breaking Waves, Opening New Journeys,' featured Professor Meng Man from Minzu University of China. She delivered an insightful interpretation of the relationship between Mazu culture and youth through her presentation titled 'Mazu as a Young Person.' Additionally, experts Liu Jinhe and Professor Ji Deqiang presented keynote speeches that addressed various themes such as the promotion of Mazu culture for fostering coexistence among different cultures and the cultural responsibilities of youth.

In the second chapter, titled 'Integration and Creative Wave,' outstanding young representatives from both China and abroad shared personal stories on the benefits of cultural exchange, technological collaboration, and economic trade. Their engaging discussions animated the atmosphere of the event and resonated deeply with the gathered youth, underscoring the significance of collaboration in a globalized world.

The third chapter, 'Setting Sail Towards Distant Horizons,' featured a roundtable dialogue with six distinguished young representatives from various nations. They discussed the crucial roles that youth can play in spreading Mazu culture, promoting Chinese culture in regions such as Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, and enhancing civilizational exchanges. Participants included youth from Malaysia, Vietnam, France, Myanmar, Madagascar, and China, who shared diverse perspectives and examples on the modernization and global promotion of Mazu culture.

After the event culminated, international students from Zhejiang University reflected on their enriching experiences during the 10th World Mazu Culture Forum. He Shijun, an undergraduate from Myanmar, shared how he had the opportunity to give a speech as part of the Generation Z representatives, emphasizing the importance of perseverance and personal growth in the face of challenges.

Thai student Li Mingyue also expressed her deeper understanding of Mazu culture gained from the event, noting how technology can assist in cultural inheritance. Her experiences emphasized the dual role of cultural activities in preserving traditions while driving economic progress. She resolved to share these insights in Thailand to advocate for cultural integration.
