Peking University has announced the opening of online bookings for accommodating international students in the International Students' Apartment at Zhongguan New Town for the spring semester of 2026. The check-in period is set for February 24 to March 1, 2026, with students required to confirm their early or late check-in preferences in advance.
The booking is available specifically for full-time foreign students enrolled at the Yan Garden campus who have not yet secured on-campus accommodation. Students from the medical department, Shenzhen Graduate School, Changping New Yan Garden campus, and Daxing campus are not eligible for this arrangement. For clarification regarding accommodation status, students may contact the project coordinator via email.
The location of the apartments is conveniently situated just outside the East Gate of the main campus of Peking University. Detailed information can be found on the Zhongguancun New Garden International Student Apartment website.
Reservations can be made online starting from February 4, 2026, at 9:00 AM until February 5, 2026, at 5:00 PM, Beijing Time. Students are encouraged to act promptly as space is limited, and accommodations will be allocated in the order in which applications are submitted.
To initiate the booking process, students will first need to browse available room types, check prices, and view current availability on the designated reservation site. During the booking window, they should select their preferred accommodation and submit the necessary personal details.
Once an application is submitted, students must await a review from the staff. Upon approval, the system will reflect a status of 'Confirmed.' It is imperative that students pay the deposit within three working days post-approval to secure their reservations; failure to do so will result in automatic cancellation.
Students are also reminded to check in during the specified time frame at the front desk of Building 1 of the Zhongguan Xinyuan Apartments. Those arriving outside of the designated check-in window should communicate their needs in advance.
All students are expected to adhere strictly to Chinese laws and the regulations set forth by Peking University during their stay. This includes signing the accommodation agreement and ensuring timely payment of accommodation fees, along with cooperating with management.
For any inquiries, students can reach the consultation hotline at +86-10-62752258 or email mzgxy805@pku.edu.cn. The Office of International Students extends warm New Year wishes, hoping for a prosperous Year of the Horse for everyone.
