Phitsanulok University Suspends Academic Degree Applications

Phitsanulok University has temporarily halted the processing of academic degree certification applications due to issues arising from an inspection conducted by the Ministry of Education. This announcement was made on May 29, 2025.

Following the investigation, it was revealed that the university provided conflicting, inaccurate, and untrue information to the inspection team. Due to these discrepancies, the relevant certification processes cannot proceed as planned.

In accordance with Article 39 of the 'Measures for Accreditation of Academic Degrees Outside the Country (Overseas),' the Ministry's Study Abroad Service Center has made the decision to suspend the acceptance of any further applications for academic degree certification stemming from Phitsanulok University until a thorough review of the existing applications can be conducted.

This move aims to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the academic degree certification process, which is critical for the recognition of qualifications obtained from foreign institutions.

The Ministry of Education's proactive stance in addressing these inspection issues underlines its commitment to maintaining high educational standards and accountability among universities.

Further communications regarding this suspension will be made available, and stakeholders are encouraged to remain informed for updates regarding resumption of services.

For more information, the Study Abroad Service Center is available via their hotline at 86-010-62677800.
