Invalidation of Academic Degree Certificates from Some Countries

Invalidation of Academic Degree Certificates from Some Countries

In a significant update, academic degree certificates from certain overseas countries have been officially invalidated as of May 2025. This decision follows a comprehensive review based on reports or new evidence related to certification standards.

The review was conducted by our center in accordance with Article 41 of the Measures for Accreditation of Academic Degrees Outside the Country. Upon investigation, it was confirmed that some certificates failed to meet established certification standards.

As a result, the invalidation has been implemented following the proper procedures. This serves as a notice to affected individuals and institutions regarding the status of these degrees.

The invalidated certificates include those referenced in documents Jiao Yu Fu Zhen Ying [2013] No. 16623 and Education Service Accreditation [2015] No. 00270. These documents were deemed non-compliant after thorough examination.

This action has been taken by the Ministry of Education Study Abroad Service Center and highlights the importance of maintaining rigorous academic standards for degrees obtained from foreign institutions.

As part of the communication process, we encourage those who have questions to reach out through our hotline at 86-010-62677800. We are committed to providing assistance and clarity regarding this matter.

For further inquiries, individuals can visit our office located on the 6th Floor, Huihuang Times Building, at No. 56, North Fourth Ring West Road, Haidian District, Beijing. We are here to assist and clarify the situation for all concerned.

This recent development underscores the necessity for students and professionals to verify the legitimacy of foreign academic credentials. Such measures aim to protect the integrity of qualifications in an increasingly globalized education landscape.

Our center remains dedicated to ensuring that all academic degrees meet the set standards, thus fostering a reliable educational framework for individuals pursuing studies abroad.

In light of these changes, it is essential for students and educational institutions to remain informed and vigilant about the certification processes in place for overseas qualifications.
