Avoid Sharing False Information in Study Abroad News

Avoid Sharing False Information in Study Abroad News

Our center has recently discovered a concerning trend among study abroad applicants: many have submitted false materials, with a significant number involving alterations to passport information. This behavior not only undermines the integrity of the certification process but also puts applicants at risk of facing non-certification for a period ranging from one to three years.

In accordance with the Overseas Academic Degree Certification Service Agreement, it is explicitly stated that the certification application must be initiated by the individual certificate holder. Applicants are required to present true, legal, valid, sufficient, and accurate certification materials. Any attempt to provide false information during the application process will result in the issuance of a 'Notice of Non-Certification' by our center, and such violations will be publicly disclosed for a duration determined by the severity of the infraction.

We strongly urge all certification applicants to meticulously review their application materials. Before uploading electronic documents, it is crucial that these materials match the original documents in clarity and completeness. Any discrepancies, be it in layout, content, or information, will be deemed as providing false materials.

The importance of adhering to regulations cannot be overstated. Under laws such as the Passport Law of the People's Republic of China and the Public Security Administration Penalty Law, altering identity documents like passports is classified as an illegal act, with serious offenses potentially leading to criminal charges.

As we emphasize the importance of truthful representations in certification applications, we remind all prospective applicants to scrutinize their documentation. This diligence is essential not only to ensure compliance with legal standards but also to protect one's academic and professional future.
