Our center has recently come across numerous cases where applicants have submitted falsified documents during the certification process, particularly focusing on alterations made to passport information.

In accordance with the 'Overseas Academic Degree Certification Service Agreement', it is stipulated that the certification application must be submitted by the certificate holder only. The applicant bears the responsibility to provide authentic, legal, valid, sufficient, and accurate materials. Should any applicant provide false information within their application, our center will issue a 'Notice of Non-Certification' as per the 'Measures for Accreditation of Academic Degrees Outside the Country.' This notice may be publicized for a period lasting from one to three years, based on the seriousness of the offense.

It is imperative that all certification applicants thoroughly review their application materials prior to submitting electronic documents. The documents must fully align, in clarity and content, with the originals. Any discrepancies regarding the content, layout, or information could be categorized as submission of false materials.

Legal frameworks such as the 'Passport Law of the People's Republic of China', the 'Public Security Administration Penalty Law of the People's Republic of China', and the 'Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China' regard the act of altering identity documents, including passports and travel permits, as potentially illegal, with serious offenses possibly constituting criminal charges.

We encourage all applicants to comply with these guidelines to avoid severe repercussions that could hinder their certification status.
