Huai Jinpeng Engages with Central Asian Education Ministers

From May 12 to 13, Minister of Education Huai Jinpeng engaged in discussions with several Central Asian education ministers, including Iran's Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Hussain Saraf, Turkmenistan's Minister of Education, Shumamurad Gurbanguerdiev, Belarus's Minister of Education, Andrei Ivanets, and Kazakhstan's Minister of Education, Ghani Beisembayev. These meetings were focused on enhancing bilateral education exchanges and fostering cooperation.

During these meetings, Huai Jinpeng emphasized the significant progress made in education cooperation between China and Central Asian countries as well as with other members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). He attributed this development to the strategic direction of President Xi Jinping and the commitment of global leaders. His assertion underscored China's readiness to deepen collaboration across various educational sectors, including higher education, basic education, vocational training, digital education, and language instruction.
