Dear international scholarship students, this notice serves as a reminder for all individuals enrolled in scholarship programs at Zhejiang University regarding the mandatory monthly attendance check-in. This requirement aims to enhance the management process for the Chinese Government Scholarship while ensuring that students receive adequate support and services.
All international scholarship students are required to check in between the 1st and 10th of each month. Specific details regarding check-in procedures will be communicated through the university's official announcements. It is crucial that all students adhere strictly to these timelines.
Students attending the Hangzhou campus will utilize designated time clocks at various locations on campus for the check-in process. Additional instructions and specific locations will be provided in an attached document, ensuring clarity on how to complete this obligation. For those studying at institutions outside of Hangzhou, separate notifications will be issued depending on their unique circumstances.
In cases where a student cannot complete their check-in due to exceptional circumstances, it is essential to reach out to your counselor ahead of the deadline to explain the situation and follow proper leave procedures. It is important to note that failing to check in without justification on two occasions will impact your performance assessment in relation to the annual evaluation for the Chinese Government Scholarship.
Students must treat this procedure with the utmost seriousness and complete their monthly check-ins according to university instructions. Should any questions arise, students are encouraged to contact the Student Affairs Office at the International Education Institute or reach out to their respective counselors for assistance.
For inquiries specifically at the Hangzhou campus, students can contact the Office of Student Affairs in the International Education College. Undergraduate students can reach Teacher Chai at Office 327, phone number 0571-88981482. Graduate students can contact Teacher Liu at Office 331, phone number 0571-87952848, among others.
