China Ministry of Education Announces 2025 Study Abroad Recruitment

The Ministry of Education of China has officially announced the recruitment plan for the Study Abroad Service Center for the year 2025. The registration period will run from May 2025 until May 23, giving prospective applicants a chance to apply for a limited number of positions. All candidates will be permitted to apply for only one job, and it is important to note that any submitted application information cannot be altered once completed.

Established on March 31, 1989, the China Study Abroad Service Center operates under the auspices of the Ministry of Education. As a public institution, it is dedicated to facilitating services related to studying abroad, returning home after studies abroad, and fostering international educational exchange and cooperation. The Center conducts open recruitment in line with its operational needs and the requirements of career development.

According to the recruitment plan, the Center aims to appoint 12 contract employees. Detailed job information is outlined in the 2025 Open Recruitment Job Information Form, which applicants are encouraged to review.

To be eligible, applicants must meet certain criteria, including being a citizen of the People's Republic of China, supporting the Constitution and the leadership of the Communist Party. They must display a commitment to education, demonstrate good character, and possess reasonable physical and mental health to fulfill job responsibilities.

Furthermore, candidates should hold a relevant academic qualification linked to their highest degree and must have this qualification finalized by July 31, 2025. Domestic graduates need to have their academic diplomas by this date, while those studying abroad must provide confirmations of their degrees obtained outside China.

The application process involves online registration via the specified FESCO cloud recruitment platform. Candidates must complete the official recruitment application form along with providing supporting documents such as resumes and proof of qualifications. Registration commences in May 2025 and will close at 18:00 on May 23, 2025.

Candidates must confirm their qualifications following the submission of their applications. The written examination will be held on June 3 and will assess comprehensive abilities and, for certain positions, specialized knowledge. Results will be disclosed in mid-June 2025, allowing candidates to verify their scores on the registration platform.

Interviews will proceed in two rounds following the written tests, beginning with a leaderless group discussion followed by a structured individual interview. The scheduling of these interviews is set for mid-June, and details will be provided closer to the date.

After the interviews, a medical examination will be conducted for candidates who pass to ensure their suitability for the position being applied for, focusing on both political alignment and personal conduct.

Eventually, the results of the recruitment, including the final list of successful candidates, will be published on the Ministry of Education's open recruitment platform. Candidates are advised that recruitment results will also be communicated through the FESCO platform throughout the selection process.
