In response to misreported doctoral enrollments, Yongheng University Laguna is undergoing a strengthened accreditation review process. This decision follows an examination conducted by our center on December 14, 2022, which revealed significant inconsistencies between the reported enrollment figures and the actual certification data.
Consequently, as stipulated in Article 28 of the Measures for Accreditation of Academic Degrees Outside the Country, our center has decided to initiate an enhanced examination procedure for the certification applications related to this institution. This step aims to ensure transparency and accuracy in the data presented.
To accommodate this review, the processing period for relevant certification applications will be extended. The new timeframe is set to not be less than 60 working days from the submission date of the certification application. This extension applies to all related applications during the enhanced review period.
It is advisable for graduates from Yongheng University to stay in close contact with their respective institutions to stay informed about the accreditation situation and any developments regarding their diplomas.
Additionally, students currently studying abroad should remain vigilant and monitor announcements related to any institutions involved in this review process. Careful selection of programs is now encouraged to ensure compliance with the updated accreditation standards.
This announcement serves to inform all stakeholders involved about the current accreditation enhancements and the necessary adjustments that have been implemented.
